Adrian + Ryan | A Ritter Springs Wedding

I’ve known Adrian since she was a little girl. Fast forward years later and she was one of my very first clients when I started my business, Shana Lynne Photography, in 2014. Since then we’ve done multiple sessions and that’s how I met Ryan, and I have to say that he’s been a good sport through many of our “creative” photographic endeavors. ;)

Adrian and Ryan met through mutual friends in school and have now been together for 5 years! He proposed last year while they were vacationing in Gulf Shores, Alabama. He surprised her with a ring while they were taking photos on the beach. So sweet!

Over the past year Adrian has been planning her wedding day, down to the very last detail. On Saturday, April 6, 2019, that day had finally arrived! It was late in the afternoon and the clouds had rolled in. The wind picked up, but the day remained dry!

One of my favorite moments of the day was during the first look. Adrian had arranged for Ryan’s brother-in-law to dress up, literally, and fake the first look! Oh my goodness, this was SO funny! Ryan laughed and turned a little red, and as you can see in one of the pictures below, gave me “the look”. I promise it wasn’t my idea!

The ceremony was intimate and sweet; while they were surrounded by family and the closest of friends, they pledged forever and sealed it with a kiss!

Thank you, Adrian & Ryan, for allowing me to be part of your lives over the last 4 1/2 years, capturing many memories, and the biggest of all—your wedding day! I wish you all the best and pray that you have many years of love and laughter…and more photo sessions! ;)
