A Spring Wedding at The James

Hannah + Angelo

Hannah and Angelo met online in 2020, and tied the knot in the Spring of 2022 at The James (currently Chrysler Commons) in Buffalo, MO. Their wedding was full of bright Spring colors and multiple personalized touches.

One of those “touches” was that they decided to forgo the traditional unity candle, and instead they made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich which they fed to each other during the ceremony. Also, the exit was was a fun and colorful rainbow of streamers, popped by the guests and wrapping the bride & groom in a colorful web.

Another creative touch that I loved was their “newspaper”, which contained information about them, their big day, and even things such as a crossword puzzle and comic section. This was a great idea for keeping the guests entertained while sharing their story at the same time. Before the dancing began, a full breakfast was served for dinner, and their “cake” was a stack of pancakes surrounded by donuts and muffins. And towards the end of the evening, instead of the traditional bouquet toss, Hannah did a candy toss for all of the kiddos-so fun!
